Friendly Streaming Browser App Reviews

Gave it 5 stars as it works without any problem… with only one screen. Also works perfectly on AirPlay. Only trouble being it can not works when you have 2 displays connected on your iMac (this being linked to the HDCP protection). Sadly when you have 2 screens connected on your iMac the HDCP protection does not grant you the access to the content you are playing for. But I recognize this is not due to the developper but more due to Apple policy. I hadly beleive this protects honest customers as this is giving problem to them. Anyway I have to state this app works fine and thank the developper for developping it. Thanks.

i have this app on my apple and love it it works great

Admitedly, I’ve only started using this app today, but it does pretty much exactly what I want it to. You can watch the movies/episodes in the app, without use of your browser, and I haven’t seen anything that suggests it needs additional plugins. It has no problem letting you choose one of a few profiles linked to an account. A good app over all.

Having a standalone app for Netflix is great, and the PIP function works, making it useful, but unfortunately, frame rate drops while watching via the App, while it doesn’t when viewing Netflix via a browser.

Downloaded this app a few weeks ago and it worked FABULOUSLY! Hence, my original rating of 5 stars. This past week it’s been all about “Whoops, something went wrong…” unexpected errors, asking me to reload the page and try again.

Used to work perfectly now it won’t play anything. Only thing that pops up is a “Whoops…” error. It’s been a long while since there has been an update to fix this…Starting to wonder if this is still an active app…Should not get this app until a newer version after 2.1 is released!!!

Need I say more than the title. Just installed this and can’t watch anything!! Friendly for Netflix is not so FRIENDLY. Can anyone suggest a app that works to watch Netflix

I’m not able to use this app at all. It opened to a Netflix log in screen but when I entered my stepfather’s details as I have a subaccount under him, it wanted me to register a new account that apparently wasn’t free. It sent me to a screen that wanted me to create a password and contained a caption underneath about starting a free month. If this is genuine it’s senseless. One shouldn’t have to register a paid account with an app that required the use of an existing paid account with another service.

Awesome app,makes using netflix on mac a lot easier, the only issue is that sometimes it opens on a black screen and i have to reopen a few times, but this might have to do with an unstable internet conection.

I was super excited to use this app, especially after reading the reviews. However, every time I open the app, a black screen comes up and I can’t do anything else. I do not recommend this app.

I DON’T EVEN KNOW IF IT’S GOOD OR NOT!!!! Why won’t it load could somebody please fix it? I NEED HELP!!!!!!

Literally did not let me play media without installing silverlight, don’t know why, can’t find anything on the web. Silverlight has now set itself in my humble villa. Congrats...

I pay for the Apps and here in paris i cant see nothing

I tried to use it but It doesnt recognize Portuguese titles to show reviews. I doubt if the trailers are listed as expected too. Please internationalize it. For now I hope to be wrong but I think Ive lost my money. Thanks

It just opens the Netflix website and when you click on a video it opens up your browser. Completely useless.

it just seems to embed the Netflix website for navigating movies and TV shows in an application -- and then add Rotten Tomatoes ratings and trailers to that. When you go to actually view a movie or a TV show, it just pops open a new browser tab. It was unclear from the descriptions and screenshots what was actually included, so I took a chance -- Ive been disappointed so far. I was hoping that it would be a self-contained place to watch Netflix videos from, and that it would have value-add options like being able to have a wish list.

It loads the netflix web interface in a browser-like app, and modifies it with Rotten Tomatos reviews. This is nice to have when browsing Netflix. However, its a little slow to load, and the scrolling bit is kinda buggy. Ultamitely youre probably better off looking for a browser pluggin that does the same thing. There are tons for Chrome.

this app would have been good if you could actualy watch movies with it!
